At JPB Counseling, we believe accessing quality mental health care should feel as manageable and welcoming as possible. That means offering options that meet people where they are, whether they prefer the convenience of Telehealth or the connection of meeting with a therapist in person.

We are pleased to share that Mette Finn, LCSW, has transitioned from a Telehealth-only role to a hybrid schedule, expanding the ways clients can work with her. In addition to her increased Telehealth availability throughout the week, Mette is now available for in-person appointments on Fridays at our Kernersville, North Carolina office.
Flexible Care for Different Needs
Telehealth can make counseling more accessible for individuals balancing work, caregiving, health concerns, transportation challenges, or busy schedules. For others, coming into the office provides a helpful sense of separation from daily responsibilities and a private, dedicated space to focus on their mental health.
Mette’s hybrid schedule gives clients more flexibility to choose the setting that feels most comfortable and practical for them. Clients may meet with her virtually from across North Carolina or schedule an in-person Friday appointment in Kernersville.

Increasing Access to Mental Health Care in Kernersville
Expanding Mette’s schedule is part of JPB Counseling’s ongoing commitment to improving access to mental health services in Kernersville and throughout North Carolina. We recognize that barriers to counseling can take many forms, including limited appointment times, transportation, distance, work schedules, family responsibilities, and personal comfort with the therapy setting.
Offering both Telehealth and in-person care helps reduce some of those barriers while giving clients more choice in how they receive support. It also allows us to respond more effectively when someone decides they are ready to begin counseling.
Quality mental health care should not require fitting into a single model. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, flexible options that make it easier for people to take the next step.
