Because being human is hard, let’s figure it out together. And yes, we accept United Healthcare.
Whether you’re here for anxiety, OCD, depression, or the growing pains of life, you don’t have to do it solo. We’re local to Kernersville (right off I-40) and offer both in-person and telehealth sessions that fit real life.
Where & how we meet
You can meet us in person in Kernersville (easy to find, close to Greensboro and Winston-Salem) or join virtually from anywhere in North Carolina.
Evening hours are available depending on your therapist, because mental health shouldn’t clock out at 5 PM.
Using your United Healthcare insurance
-
Therapy shouldn’t be mysterious or impossible to afford. We’re in-network with United Healthcare, and our admin team will help verify benefits and walk you through copays before you even start. You can also use HSA/FSA funds for sessions.
-
Transparency matters; our rates are clearly presented on our site and we are more than happy to discuss the rates prior to our appointments.
Hey there, glad you found us.
Starting therapy can feel awkward. We get it, walking into a new office or logging on to that first telehealth call isn’t anyone’s idea of fun. But it’s also a brave move toward feeling more like yourself again.
At JPB Counseling, we keep things simple: real talk, real support, no judgment. We’re in-network with United Healthcare, which means you can actually use your insurance to get the help you deserve.
What we help with:
-
Anxiety & OCD: untangling the mental knots that keep you on edge.
-
Depression: finding small steps back toward energy, purpose, and connection.
-
Perinatal & postpartum: support for parents in the messy, beautiful in-between.
-
Marriage & family: better communication, less blame, more teamwork.
-
Life transitions: career shifts, new chapters, or the dreaded “what now?” feeling.
-
Empty nesting: rediscovering who you are when the house gets quiet.
-
Relationship issues: dating drama, communication breakdowns, or simply wanting something different. You bring the story; we’ll bring the space to unpack it.
